SOP 006 · WEEKLY REPORTING WITH AI · PAID
Automate Your Weekly Report with AI
Weekly client reports eat half a day at most agencies — pulling Meta, GA4 and Xero exports into something readable. This SOP cuts it to 20 minutes. Export the numbers, paste them into Claude, get a client-ready narrative back. AI handles the structure and story; you handle the accuracy check on the figures. The split is what makes the report defensible at the next stakeholder meeting.

Export your numbers from Meta, GA4 and Xero, paste them into AI, and get a client-ready report in under 20 minutes. The AI gets the structure and narrative right. You get the context and accuracy check right. Split the job — don't try to do both yourself.

- A master reporting prompt that produces a client-ready narrative
- A short list of metrics that actually tell the story
- A review process that catches AI's number-reading mistakes

Common questions
The questions people actually ask.
- How long does this workflow take each week?
- 15 to 20 minutes once you have the system. The first time may take 30 to 40 minutes while you find the export paths and build a reporting template.
- Do I need all three tools (Meta, GA4, Xero)?
- No. Use whichever ones you have access to. Social media only clients need Meta. Website only clients need GA4. Add Xero if you're managing financials or the client has asked for revenue reporting.
- Which AI tool handles the data best?
- Claude is recommended for report writing — its larger context window handles big CSV pastes more reliably than most. ChatGPT and Gemini also work.
- Why does AI sometimes get the numbers wrong?
- AI occasionally misreads CSV formatting. Always read every figure in the AI output against your raw data before sending. The AI gets the structure and narrative right; you do the accuracy check.
- Can Meta export demographic data?
- No. Meta does not allow raw demographic export to protect user privacy. Take a screenshot from Insights -> Audience instead — Claude can read the screenshot.
- How many metrics should one report cover?
- Five to eight max. More data equals less clarity. Clients want the story, not a spreadsheet.
